Infra

Before

Remember shell scripts and Fabric commands to deploy, which takes a day or two to write perfectly?

Now

GIT PUSH👏 DOCKER👏 IMAGE👏 BUILD👏 DEPLOY👏 K8s👏

Devops and Infra ops work has never been this lazier before. It has become so lazy that you spend more time on making mesmerizing Ops charts and beats on huge monitors, rather than taking some craftmanship to deploy things.

I moved from shell scripts -> Fabric command -> Vagrant & Fabric -> Vagrant & Ansible -> Docker-Compose & Docker Cloud (RIP 😥) -> Docker-Compose & K8s (or a single-node docker swarm.) My heart will still be at AWS. With Terraform + Kops, I can say good bye to Ansible.

I am always interested in Kubernetes any day. I'm glad that K8s won over Docker Swarm. Love me some K8s.
